Muumuu – A Unique Hawaii Fashion Trend

Muumuu is a loose-fitting Hawaiian style dress of mixed Hawaiian and Polynesian origins that hangs loosely at the waist and is often likened to a long robe. Unlike the Hawaiian aloha dress, muumuus export are often brightly colored with geometric patterned floral designs of basic Polynesian theme designs. Muumus for native Hawaiian women are typically much more subdued than those for tourist and business people.
